A User is unable to deselect their previous selection in a Datatable with Selection and Highlight

Description

1. add an input element to the body.

2. Click to select any datatable field
3. Click the input field you created
4. Assert the highlight does not clear

The same issue affects multi-select highlights by dragging to select several table elements.
