As an Instance Admin
I want to be able to configure the autogeneration of Structure Key and Template key
So that I can decide at an instance level if I want them to be autogenerated.
Background:
As explained in the documentation page , it’s possible to control the automatic generation of structure and template IDs, allowing for custom values instead.
This configuration has the scope of System Settings and it cannot be configured at a finer level, like Instance Settings. This is inconvenient for LXC environments.
Requirements:
Move the Autogenerate Structure Key and the Autogenerate Template Key configuration from:
System Settings > System Scope > Administration
To: System Settings > Virtual Instance Scope > Web Content (the first options after Custom Token values)
Under Instance Settings > Virtual Instance Scope > Web Content the following options should appear:
Autogenerate Structure Key
Check this if structure keys should always be autogenerated
Autogenerate Template Key
Check this if template keys should always be autogenerated.
Generate an upgrade process so if the client upgrades these configurations would be still applied.
